    Significant Disproportionality Summit

    During our first Significant Disproportionality Summit on November 9 and 10, 2021, IDC brought states and districts together to discuss strategies, processes, and infrastructures related to significant disproportionality. The Summit included a keynote session followed by six plenary sessions focused on topics such as cultivating robust stakeholder teams, conducting root cause analysis, addressing different types of disproportionality, and evaluating improvement strategies. For each session, we present the session title and description, the recorded video, and the link to the PowerPoint slides.

    Tips for Success: Writing an Effective FFY 2020 State Performance Plan/Annual Performance Report

    IDC staff guided states through writing a comprehensive and accurate FFY 2020 State Performance Plan/Annual Performance Report (SPP/APR), including Indicator 17 (State Systemic Improvement Plan). Presenters highlighted OSEP guidance, shared key points to keep in mind while writing, and provided examples of common writing and reporting challenges and potential solutions. Webinar participants shared their ideas and approaches to writing their reports. 

  • CADRE's 9th National Symposium - Planting Seeds: Growing an Inclusive and Informed Community
    CADRE will convene its 9th National Symposium on Dispute Resolution in Special Education, Planting Seeds: Growing an Inclusive and Informed Community, October 26-28, 2022. The event will take place in Denver, Colorado. Symposium participants will include Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) staff, state dispute resolution coordinators, directors of special education, dispute resolution practitioners, researchers, parent advocates, attorneys, educators, service providers, and parents.
