Webinar: Using the SPP/APR to Tell a Story

Time and Date

Overview

By popular demand, IDC is proud to offer this encore performance of a presentation from our recent SPP/APR Summit. Do you struggle to communicate information in the SPP/APR to stakeholders and local education agencies (LEAs)? Do you find it challenging to explain the value of this mammoth federal report and its diverse components? If so, you’re not alone!

It can be difficult to communicate about the SPP/APR, especially with those unfamiliar with the indicators or those who cringe at the very mention of “data.” Fortunately, there are ways to make the SPP/APR more approachable. For example, most people can relate to a story, and in many ways the SPP/APR is exactly that: a story of special education within the state. Join us as we present examples of how states can use the SPP/APR to tell their own unique special education story and illustrate how the indicators relate to the academic journeys of children and youth with disabilities.

In this recorded webinar, we present examples of how states can use the SPP/APR to tell their own unique special education story and illustrate how the indicators relate to the academic careers of children and youth with disabilities.
