Overview

IDC is offering 2018 Interactive Institutes on Building a Culture of High-Quality Part B Data on Feb. 21-22, 2018 in Orlando, FL and March 7-8, 2018 in Austin, TX. Part B state teams will engage their peers and content and process experts from across the country in highly interactive sessions on IDEA 618 and 616 data collection and reporting requirements, reporting and using results of  SSIP evaluation data, and other important data-quality and evaluation topics. The institutes are designed to strengthen state capacity to create a culture that produces high-quality data at state and local levels to achieve measurable and sustainable results for children and youth with disabilities. State teams will be comprised of state special education directors, IDEA Part B data managers, SPP/APR coordinators (or Indicator Leads), SSIP coordinators, and 619 coordinators. Innovative institute session formats will include Topical Bursts of highly engaging content on broad data quality topics, TA Workshops that link to and build upon the Topical Bursts, Problems of Practice and Plenary sessions, and opportunities to learn about helpful tools and products designed to support data quality improvement.
