IDC Interactive Institutes on High-Quality Part B Data

Overview

The IDC Interactive Institutes offered innovative formats and highly interactive sessions designed to help Part B state teams interact with, and learn from each other and TA providers. The overall goal of the Institutes was to strengthen state capacity to implement a culture of high-quality data at state and local levels to achieve measurable and sustainable results for children and youth with disabilities and their families.

IDC funded participation for four Part B state team members. State Part B teams will include:

  • State Directors of Special Education
  • IDEA Part B Data Managers
  • SPP/APR Coordinators
  • SSIP Coordinators

CIFR, CIID, and NTACT collaborated with IDC to provide learning opportunities that leverage the expertise and experience of state participants, content and process expertise from the TA centers, and OSEP staff.

IDC invited state directors of special education to participate and identify their Part B state teams and will follow up with the identified state team members to complete their registrations.
