The IDC Part C Exiting workgroup has been developing a tool to assist with these challenges. The presentation was interactive, drawing on the experiences of new and seasoned data managers.

    During this session, the presenters walked participants through a structured process for guiding conversations using data and making data-informed decisions. The presenter demonstrated the flexible use of IDC’s Data Meeting Protocol across a variety of data and with diverse groups and stakeholders.

    What’s on the Horizon? Acting Now to Implement the New SPP/APR Changes

    Join our knowledgeable IDC staff, Nancy O’Hara and Chris Thacker, as they guide you through the changes to the State Performance Plan/Annual Performance Report (SPP/APR) collection that will establish a new 6-year cycle for collecting and reporting IDEA data. The presenters explained the new requirements and shared implications for data collection, analysis, and use. A state speaker shared strategies their state is implementing now to meet the new requirements and ensure the state will have high-quality data for reporting for the FFY 2020 SPP/APR. This interactive webinar provided an opportunity for states to contribute their ideas and planned strategies to prepare for their SPP/APR due in 2022.

    IDC staff joined the NPSO Community of Practice call December 11 to present examples for states to consider that would constitute a change of their sampling plans. Staff explained how states can get TA on sampling from IDC. The call also offered a refresher on the NPSO sampling and response calculators that states can use for their SPP/APR work.
