2020 Part B FFY 2018 SPP/APR Indicator Analysis BookletThe 2020 Part B FFY 2018 SPP/APR Indicator Analysis Booklet presents a national quantitative picture of the implementation of Part B of IDEA based on a review of information 60 states and agencies (i.e., the 50 states, commonwealths, territories, and the Bureau of Indian Education) reported in the FFY 2018 APRs and amended SPPs they submitted to OSEP in spring 2020. For the purposes of the report, the term “state” is used for both states and other jurisdictions. The report covers Part B Indicators 1 through 17.

A Guide to SSIP Evaluation PlanningThis guide describes key steps for developing a well-thought-out plan for evaluating an SSIP. The guide provides considerations for how to incorporate each step into an evaluation plan, as well as a series of worksheets that correspond to each step and can be used to facilitate the planning process. The guide, along with its corresponding worksheets, is intended for TA providers to use in partnership with state staff.

A State Guide on Identifying, Correcting, and Reporting Noncompliance with IDEA RequirementsThe Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) requires states to monitor and enforce IDEA Part C and Part B requirements, with a primary focus on those requirements that are most closely related to improving results and functional outcomes for infants, toddlers, and children with disabilities. To support states to carry out these monitoring responsibilities, A State Guide on Identifying, Correcting, and Reporting Noncompliance with IDEA Requirements describes the IDEA requirements related to identifying noncompliance, making findings of noncompliance, correcting and verifying correction of noncompliance, and federal reporting on compliance and correction of noncompliance in the state’s SPP/APR. This guide is based on the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) Memo 09-02: Reporting on Correction of Noncompliance in the Annual Performance Report Required under Sections 616 and 642 of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and the OSEP Frequently Asked Questions on Identifying and Correcting Noncompliance and Reporting on Correction in the SPP/APR.

Collecting and Reporting the New Data Elements Related to the Local Education Agency Maintenance of Effort ProvisionsProduced by IDC and CIFR, this resource discusses each of the four new data elements OSEP is adding related to the LEA MOE provisions of IDEA in the MOE Reduction and CEIS data collection.
