The Part C Exiting Data Toolkit has three major goals and includes four sections. The goals are to assist state agency staff to: (1) understand the Part C Exiting data hierarchy of categories, (2) stimulate discussion of challenges and solutions that are appropriate for each state, and (3) provide queries to confirm accuracy checks of exiting data. The four sections are: (1) the 10 Part C Exiting categories; (2) definitions, specific and general challenges with potential solutions, and state variation for each category; (3) data checking patterns to assist state agency staff locate irregularities in their data patterns; and (4) categories with child-level examples.
