  • Save the Date: EDFacts Modernization Webinar

    The Department of Education would like you to save the date for an upcoming webinar that will provide an update on EDFactsmodernization efforts. Scheduled for Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. ET, the event will deliver a presentation on Common Education Data Standards (CEDS) and display the new data quality application, EDPass, to attendees.

  • Part C IDEA Fiscal Forum (IFF)

    CIFR will host a Part C IDEA Fiscal Forum (IFF) in Atlanta, Georgia, on May 9–11, 2023. This in-person event will provide opportunities for Part C coordinators and other state lead agency (LA) staff with IDEA Part C fiscal responsibilities to come together to build knowledge and capacity.

  • OSERS Symposia Series: Beyond the IDEA and WIOA Requirements

    The 2023-2024 OSERS Symposia Series will provide an opportunity for the field to join OSERS in the challenge to raise expectations, engage families earlier, and fully empower all individuals who support transition services to improve post-school outcomes for children and youth with disabilities and their families. OSERS for a look beyond the requirements of IDEA and WIOA to maximize the experiences and opportunities for children, youth and young adults with disabilities and their families.

     



     

  • OSEP's Leadership and Project Directors’ Conference

    The Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) will hold its virtual Leadership and Project Directors’ Conference during the week of July 18, 2022, and IDC will be there.  Join us for Make Data More Accessible: IDC’s Part B Indicator Data Display Wizard presented by Fred Edora and Laura Johnson and Who Didn’t Respond? Analyzing Nonresponse Bias in Survey Data presented by Tamara Nimkoff and Ben Schneider.   • NTACT:C 2023 Capacity Building Institute

    This National Technical Assistance Center on Transition: The Collaborative (NTACT:C) event serves as an opportunity for state transition professionals to continue to collaborate through state-to-state sharing and facilitated discussions.

  • National Research Conference on Early Childhood 2022

    This 3-day event presents the latest research about Head Start, Early Head Start, child care, home visiting, child welfare, special education, pre-kindergarten, early elementary, and other early childhood programs. Conference features include plenary sessions, symposia, poster symposia, poster sessions, and informal events.

  • NASDSE 84th Annual Conference and Business Meeting

    The National Association of State Directors of Special Education (NASDSE) will host its 84th Annual Conference and Business Meeting on September 19–21 in St. Petersburg, Florida. The theme: "Leading Forward with Education."
