The second webinar in IDC’s IDEA Data Training Modules series focused on an Overview of the Part C Module and Its Data Collections and Technical Assistance Modules. The webinar provided a more in-depth overview of the Part C IDEA Data Training Module, with a focus on its modules related to the 618 data collections and available TA. Participants learned how the modules could help users understand the basics of the IDEA Part C data collections and TA available to support their state submissions and how the audio and visual components of the modules could support self-paced learning among the modules’ targeted audiences. Primary targeted audiences included new and seasoned data managers, Part C coordinators, 619 Coordinators, and TA providers, who heard how the modules could be useful to them regardless of their individual needs, level of experience, and roles and responsibilities in the state.

The first two-part webinar in this series was on January 27, 2016. A brief overview of the Part B and Part C modules was presented. A look at their user guides, acronym lists, and resources, and a focus on the APR modules was also detailed. The Part B and Part C recordings from the first webinar were posted in the Resource Library. The third webinar, IDEA Data Training Modules: Overview of the Part B Module and Its Spring Data Collections and EDFacts Modules, occurred on April 4, 2016. It provided a more in-depth overview of the Part B IDEA Data Training Module, with a focus on its modules related to the 618 spring data collections and EDFacts. The fourth webinar, IDEA Data Training Modules: Overview of the Part B Module and Its Fall Data Collections and Technical Assistance Modules, occurred on April 18, 2016. It provided an overview of the Part B module with a focus on its fall data collections and technical assistance modules.
