This webinar continues IDC's Back-to-Basics Webinar Series for new Part B state staff, staff with new indicator responsibilities, and those who want a refresher on ins-and-outs of the SPP/APR indicators and related Section 618 data collections. The webinar will focus on beginning level information on Indicator B3 (Assessment), including a review of B3's specific criteria and data sources; steps and calculations required to collect, analyze, and report Indicator B3 data; and any differences or similarities between Indicator B3 and the other indicators.

Expected outcomes of the webinar are that participants will have a better understanding of Indicator B3 requirements to ensure high-quality data for SPP/APR reporting and increased knowledge about available resources and supports for understanding and reporting Indicator B3 data.

    Susan HayesHayes has experience working with state education agencies by providing both technical assistance and research support to inform decisions on state education policy. She has provided technical assistance to states around such key issues as special education compliance and improvement planning, the OSEP-required State Systemic Improvement Plan (SSIP), special education data systems, school and district improvement, and educator effectiveness. Hayes also serves on the National Center for Systemic Improvement (NCSI) and the Northeast Comprehensive Center (NCC).

    Tiffany BoydTiffany Boyd is a Senior Technical Analyst at Applied Engineering Management (AEM) Corporation with 11 years of data collection experience at the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. Prior to joining AEM, she was the Data Management and Reporting Team Manager and also served as EDFacts Coordinator for 8 years. Tiffany played a key role in the implementation of Wi’s individual student enrollment system in WI. Tiffany currently serves as the Dissemination and Communication Team Lead and TA expert for the Center for Integration of IDEA Data (CIID), has expertise with the Common Education Data Standards (CEDS) and provides technical assistance for EDFacts and the Civil Rights Data Collection. Tiffany's main areas of expertise are EDFacts and student and staff level data collection management.
