Lee Anne SulzbergerBefore joining Westat (Rockville) and the IDEA Data Center I worked for the Virginia Department of Education’s Training and Technical Assistance Center at the College of William & Mary. I used my knowledge of special education, multi-tiered support systems, and systems change to provide technical assistance to teachers, administrators, and support staff serving students with disabilities in grades K through 12. While at TTAC W&M I was also a regional coordinator for a VDOE project that focuses on increasing student involvement and leadership in their IEP development, providing leadership opportunities for students with disabilities, and helping families support the development of their student’s self-determination skills.
